Climate and Clean Energy Transition Forum and Reception, ASEAN-Australia Special Summit

On the 4th of March 2024, Mr. Pordeng Philakone, representing Thavysub Energy Engineering and Consulting Co., Ltd., accepted an invitation from the Australian Embassy in Lao PDR to attend the Climate and Clean Energy Transition Forum and Reception at the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in Melbourne, Australia, where he participated as a co-founder of the company.
During the event, we had the chance to engage with various representatives from governmental sectors and business entities across ASEAN nations, specifically focusing on the energy sector. This provided a valuable platform for networking and exchanging insights with neighboring countries and Australia, aiming to facilitate the transition towards greater utilization of clean and sustainable energy. Such collaborative efforts are essential for advancing towards the goals of achieving Net-Zero emissions and Carbon Neutrality.
Our company is dedicated to advocating for the adoption of clean energy within the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, particularly emphasizing solar energy. Our efforts have garnered recognition both domestically and internationally. Our company has overseen numerous successful projects, including the construction of solar farms and integration of solar panels onto various buildings. Thavysub has forged strategic partnerships with neighboring countries such as the People’s Republic of China, Thailand, and Korea.
